IMPORTANT
These terms govern the use of www.asterialifestyle.co.za and purchases made through the Asteria Lifestyle online store. They should be read with our Privacy Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy, and Refunds, Returns and Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these terms limits a consumer’s rights under applicable South African law.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting a skin quiz, subscribing to communications, or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the relevant service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the assistance and consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for information submitted through your account.
3. PRODUCTS AND INFORMATION
Asteria Lifestyle offers a curated range that may include cosmeceutical skincare, cosmetics, wellness and weight-management supplements, hair products, beauty tools, accessories and lifestyle products. Availability and ranges may change.
We take reasonable steps to describe products accurately. Images, colours and packaging may differ slightly from the delivered product because of display settings, supplier changes or packaging updates. Product descriptions, ingredient lists and instructions supplied by manufacturers remain subject to change; check the product and packaging before use.
Stock is not reserved until an order is accepted. If an item becomes unavailable after payment, we will contact you and offer a refund, replacement or other lawful remedy.
4. HEALTH, WELLNESS AND PRODUCT-USE NOTICE
Website content, skin-quiz outputs and product recommendations are general information only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and results are not guaranteed.
Read all labels, ingredients, warnings and directions before use. Patch-test topical products where appropriate. Before using supplements or weight-management products, consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under medical care, take medication, have allergies or have a health condition. Stop use and seek appropriate advice if you experience an adverse reaction.
You remain responsible for choosing and using products appropriately. This clause does not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. PRICES, PROMOTIONS AND AVAILABILITY
Prices are displayed in South African rand (ZAR) and VAT Inclusive. Delivery charges and any other applicable charges are shown before checkout.
Promotional offers, discount codes, samples and gifts are subject to their published terms, stock availability and expiry dates. Unless stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined. We may correct an obvious pricing or listing error before accepting an order and will notify you if this affects your order.
6. ORDERS AND CONTRACT FORMATION
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline the order for lawful reasons, including stock unavailability, suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, failed payment or delivery restrictions. The sale is concluded when we send an order-acceptance or dispatch confirmation, depending on the checkout process.
Please check product, quantity, address and contact details before submitting an order. An automated receipt does not necessarily confirm acceptance. We may contact you to verify an order.
7. PAYMENT
Available payment options are displayed at checkout. Online payments are processed through Netcash. Payflex may be available as a payment option and is subject to Payflex’s eligibility checks, approval and separate terms.
Asteria Lifestyle does not receive or store complete card credentials submitted directly to the payment provider. Payment providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. You warrant that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
If payment is reversed, declined or not received, we may suspend or cancel the order. Ownership passes only once full payment has cleared; delivery risk is addressed in the Shipping and Delivery Policy.
8. DELIVERY
We deliver to eligible addresses in South Africa. Delivery estimates, charges, address requirements, tracking and risk are governed by the Shipping and Delivery Policy. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.
9. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation, cooling-off, return, refund and defective-product rights are set out in the Refunds, Returns and Cancellation Policy. Hygiene and safety restrictions may apply to opened skincare, cosmetics, supplements, ingestible products and products that come into contact with the body, except where goods are defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or another statutory right applies.
10. WEBSITE USE
You may use the website only for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes. You may not interfere with security, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content without permission, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use the website in a way that infringes rights or disrupts services.
We may restrict access, cancel accounts or decline orders where reasonably necessary to prevent misuse, fraud or harm, subject to applicable law.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The website and its content—including text, layout, graphics, trade marks, logos, photographs and original product material—are owned by or licensed to Asteria Lifestyle and are protected by law. You may view and retain reasonable copies for personal, non-commercial use. No other reproduction, modification, distribution or commercial use is permitted without written consent.
Third-party product names, brands and content remain the property of their respective owners.
12. REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT
If you submit a review, image or other content, you confirm that it is accurate, lawful and does not violate another person’s rights. You grant Asteria Lifestyle a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content for operating and promoting the store, subject to our Privacy Policy. We may moderate or remove unlawful, misleading or inappropriate content.
13. PRIVACY AND COOKIES
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. The website may use essential cookies and, subject to applicable choices, analytics or marketing technologies. Do not submit unnecessary medical information through forms or the skin quiz.
14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The website may connect to Ecwid store functionality, Netcash, Payflex, couriers, analytics, email services, social platforms or other third parties. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy notices. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply control or endorsement of unrelated third-party content.
15. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY
Goods are supplied with all warranties and remedies required by South African law, including rights relating to goods that are unsafe, defective, of poor quality or not reasonably suitable for their ordinary purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, Asteria Lifestyle is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, loss caused by misuse contrary to product directions, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for gross negligence, fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify Asteria Lifestyle against claims arising from your unlawful use of the website, infringement of third-party rights, or deliberate breach of these terms. This does not reduce rights or remedies granted to consumers by law.
17. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND FORCE MAJEURE
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, cyber incidents, supplier failures, courier disruption, electricity or communications outages, industrial action, natural events and other circumstances beyond reasonable control may delay performance. We will take reasonable steps to communicate and mitigate material disruption.
18. CHANGES
We may update these terms when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The version in force when an order is accepted generally applies to that order, unless a legal change requires otherwise. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
19. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties should first try to resolve a complaint directly and in good faith. Consumers may also use any regulator, ombud, tribunal or court available under applicable law.
20. GENERAL
If part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. These terms, together with the policies referenced above and order-specific information, form the agreement relating to the website and purchase.
